As you may have heard, major ski resorts have announced that they are closing due to the COVID-19 virus. This is unprecedented for the ski industry which is being shaken to the core, but our resolution is strong. Our current focus is on making sure our guests who are at the resort are safe and provided for. As such, please allow us time to gather - we will get back to you.
For guests who are scheduled to arrive at a resort and are seeking to cancel:
We are working very hard to reach our lodging partners to cancel your reservation. While you are currently booked in with them, given the circumstances, we are negotiating with our partners to get you either a full refund (with a potential cancellation penalty) or full credit for next season.
Lift Tickets, Equipment Rentals and Transfers:
We work with wholesale partners which allow us to package products at low prices. When you book your package with us, the products are instantly confirmed with our wholesale partners. As we are unable to obtain a refund from our partners, we will be unable to refund you. However, given the unprecedented circumstances, we are able to give you the amount back as a full credit to spend for next season.
Fortunately, if you have purchased travel insurance by AIG at the time of booking with SnowPak, you may be entitled to insurance reimbursements. You will have received an insurance confirmation email from Travel Guard within days after your booking was confirmed. Through this email you will find all the information needed to file a claim.
If you have booked insurance through a third-party vendor, please contact your travel insurance provider directly and submit a claim via the appropriate channel.
