Ski Resort Guest Safety FAQs

Are reservations required this season to access the mountain?
No, reservations will not be required for the 21/22 season.
Are face coverings required on chairlifts or gondolas?

Face coverings are only required in enclosed indoor buildings. They are not required on gondolas or chairlifts.

Are ski resorts enforcing social distancing indoors, in lines and mazes, on gondolas and chairlifts, etc?
There will not be mandated physical distancing indoors, lifts and gondolas will be loaded at normal capacity.
Are vaccinations for guests required?
Guests will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations to dine at indoor, on-mountain quick-service (cafeteria-style) restaurants. Proof of vaccinations will not be required anywhere else on the mountain or at your lodging.
Are ski resorts verifying employee vaccination status?
All employees are required to have COVID-19 vaccinations for their safety and protection as well as the safety and protection of all guests and communities, and in compliance with the recent rules announced under the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Indoor face coverings, enhanced hygiene practices, daily employee health screenings, and other health and safety measures will also continue.

  • If a ski resort shuts down due to COVID-19 or you are unable to travel due to travel restrictions, here are your options:

    Lift Tickets, Equipment Rentals and Transfers:
    While your Lift Tickets, Equipment Rentals and Transfers are non-refundable, you may be eligible for a refund, partial refund or future travel credit should the ski resort shut due to COVID-19. If this does happen, SnowPak will reach out to you as soon as possible.

    Lodging: SnowPak partners with thousands of lodging partners who offer a wide variety of Fully Refundable rooms. Booking one of these rooms will provide you with the best flexibility. Should you need to cancel after the free cancellation period, we can help you contact the lodging partner to see what other options are available. Please note it is ultimately the hotel’s decision whether to refund or not. Every lodging partner has its own policy so be sure to check your cancellation policy prior to booking.
