COVID-19 FAQ for Travellers UPDATED 03/16/22

We know there is a lot of uncertainty around COVID-19 and whether it will impact your ski vacation plans. Ski Resort Guest FAQs

Are the ski resorts impacted by COVID-19?
All ski resorts and ski towns are open and fully operational. All lifts and gondolas are running with no restrictions on capacity. That said, some ski resorts are asking you to undertake the following safety precautions:
  • Face Coverings: Face coverings are required on buses and shuttles.
  • On Mountain Dining: Like last season, guests at some resorts will be required to book a reservation at indoor on-mountain restaurants. 
Outside of this, the ski experience will go ahead as normal. Please note that there may be a slight degradation of services on busy days due to resort staffing.
Is my lodging impacted by COVID-19?

Hotel and lodging operations are mostly unaffected by COVID-19. However, there may be staffing shortages which impact certain hotel amenities and services. Are masks mandatory?
Masks are required on public transportation in some states and counties. You can find the specific rules and regulations here.
What travel restrictions should I be aware of?
There are no travel restrictions for interstate travel within the US.

US to Canada: Quarantine free travel to Canada is only available to fully vaccinated travelers. All travelers by air, land or water must provide a negative molecular COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of their flight departure or entry to Canada by land or water. Alternatively, travelers can provide proof of a negative, professionally administered or observed antigen test taken outside of Canada no more than 1 day before your flight or entry to Canada by land or water. There are no exceptions for travelers who are partially or fully vaccinated.

Canada to US: Proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test taken no more than 1 day before your flight into the US is required for guests aged 2+.

I want to book a trip but I'm not sure of the situation with COVID-19. What should I do?
Understandably you may feel uncertain about booking your ski vacation in the future right now. We strongly urge all guests to carefully consider the cancellation policy on any packages they make and to choose packages which provide flexibility. We also suggest considering travel insurance options which cover travel issues related to COVID-19 and flight cancellations.
I need to cancel my trip. What are my options?
Cancellation policies are set by our lodging and product partners and can vary. You can find details about the cancellation policy on the hotel page and your itinerary page of our website. We urge you to carefully consider the cancellation policy before you book. If you want to cancel outside the free cancellation date, we will contact our partners and negotiate on your behalf to obtain a refund or credit. While we will do our best to seek an outcome for you, please understand that we are unable to guarantee you a result.
